Cornerstone for new police station in Ashdod
Published on: August 29, 2012Minister Aharonovitch: “I began my visit at the Ramat HaNegev municipality. I met the mayor, Shmulik Riefman. I met the police captains of the Southern Region, who briefed me on the progress they were making in establishing an Organizational Unit. This unit will comprise over 350 police officers.
“I then saw from up close the new security measures put in place by the Ministry of Security in the K’tziot region. Later on, I will visit Ashdod and lay the cornerstone of a new police station – a great step forward for the fifth largest city in Israel. May we see great success from all of these endeavors.”
