Minister Landver: Thousands of Apartments will be Built
Published on: December 17, 2012Today, during a visit to an absorption center in Kfar Saba, Minister of Immigrant Absorption, Sofa Landver announced that at the recent governmental meeting, the government was able to report that 1033 apartments for new immigrants have already been built out of the 4000 over four years pledged in March of this year.
In addition, the Minister announced that 101 of these homes would be built in Kfar Saba, whose mayor, Yehuda Ben-Hamu, has been very supportive of this project. The Amigur company has been awarded the tender for building the new apartments. Landver announced that many more apartments would be built in the coming year in cities such as Rishon L’Tzion, Haifa, Ashdod, Bat Yam, and Kiriyat Ono.
