Yisrael Beytenu MKs Inaugurate Materinity Ward
Published on: October 11, 2012As part of the 2007 coalition agreement, Yisrael Beytenu secured 100 million NIS for the four hospitals located in Israel’s Periphery: Ziv Hospital, Barzilai in Ashkelon, the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya and Poriyah Hospital.
Today, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon and MK Lia Shemtov visited the renovated maternity ward of Poriya Hosiptal. They were joined by MK Orli Levy-Abekassis, who only the day before had given birth there to a son. Congratulations!
It was a source of joy and gratification to see the renovated hospital, the fruit of Yisrael Beytenu’s tireless campaigning for greater investment in the Periphery.
